6. Data Storage and Location All data is hosted on Adalo’s secure cloud servers, primarily located in the United States. While this involves international transfer, Adalo maintains industry-standard encryption and security measures. Surfing Sobriety applies safeguards consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles (APP 8 – Cross-border disclosure).

7. Data Security All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and stored securely. Surfing Sobriety Pty Ltd, as the app publisher, retains administrative access to user data for system maintenance and security purposes. We will never use, view, or sell user data, in whole or in part, at any time — in perpetuity. Access is restricted to authorised personnel and used only when necessary to maintain app function or respond to user requests.

8. Data Retention and Deletion Users can delete their account directly within the app at any time. Account deletion is immediate and permanent. All associated data is erased from Adalo’s servers without delay. Surfing Sobriety retains no backups or recoverable copies once deletion is complete. To meet platform requirements, users may also request deletion via our website or by emailing info@surfingsobriety.com — however, this duplicates the in-app option.
